HIGHLIGHTS
Once Dogharu Brahmin of village Poojali went to Drang to bring salt. On returning, statue of Mahishasurmardini sat in his ‘Kilta’ (Basket). Due to which his ‘Kilta’ filled of salt got light and he moved ahead from all of his companions. While on reaching Thogi Doghari, when he relaxed, in the mean time an etherial voice from sky came that Devi has arrived in his ‘Kilta’. For the welfare of people, let she be established here. Immediately, when Dogharu Brahmin put his ‘Kilta’ downward, he found a very big statue of Mahishasurmardini. Then people constructed a store in Thogi and build a temple and established the statue in village Poojali and started worship.
